Parental Internet Control Software

Children are exposed to pornography, most often, on home computers or by friends, siblings. Children need to be educated on responsible use of the internet, as well as the many dangers associated with internet use. At the same time, parents should closely supervise their childrens' internet use. Some public schools and libraries sign contracts with children, which children and parents must read, before they can use computers in public schools.
Exposure to pornography can lead to pornography addiction to teens and pre-teens, and children of all ages, from seven and eight years old, have been observed as having been exposed to internet pornography. Parental Internet Control Software is highly recommended. It does not replace supervision or training of children, but it is a safety precaution that is vital for parents to protect their children. Approximately 12% of all Internet sites are pornographic. Pop-up images featuring pornography or semi-pornography, including those for video games that might appeal to a teen, are regularly featured on sites which children frequently use. This is a most serious concern for parents and educators.
